Structural Fabricator (Carpenter)

The Structural Fabricator will use their exceptional Carpentry skills to fabricate ladders, handrails, and platforms from FRP pultruded stock. Cut, drill, and bolt raw material together to fabricate finished products.

Qualifications:

  • Finish Carpentry Experience
  • Skilled & efficient at measuring lengths and angles
  • Experience laying out handrail and stairs
  • Can read AND interpret blueprints
  • Self-motivated
  • Quality, detail, and safety oriented
  • Can work independently and with others
  • Can calculate compound miter joints in process
  • Able to make adjustments in the Fabrication Process to produce the Final Product
  • Use of all hand and power tools
  • Able to stand, walk, talk, hear and lift/carry an average weight of 50lbs.

We are actively seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. Qualifications include, but are limited to:

  • Engineering degree required, Mechanical or Industrial preferred
  • LEAN/6 Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Knowledge of Composites Manufacturing methods and materials
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience Leading Process Mapping and optimization initiatives in a manufacturing enfvironment

Laminator  

Kenway is seeking skilled craftspeople who want to be part of building exciting products for roads, highways, waterfront infrastructure, and for a variety of other emerging markets from utilities, to submarines, to aerospace.

Laminators will be responsible for laying up fiberglass and resin for manufacturing of Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) components.

Laminators Must:
• Be able to use hand and power tools and measuring devices
• Read and understand technical drawings and instructions
• Safely handle vinyl ester and epoxy resins
• Communicate effectively
• Work with others
• Lift and carry up to 100lbs.

Experience with composites is NOT required… we will train you!

Successful candidates will be committed to:

INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER 

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing manufacturing and field service revenue with customers in the heavy industrial and municipal market segments for products such as fiberglass piping, duct, storage tanks, and structural fabrications.

To be considered, you must demonstrate prior success selling high value-added engineered industrial products and field service for both private sales and public solicitations.

You must be skilled at identifying and qualifying opportunities, presenting the company’s experience and value proposition to engineering firms, designers, purchasing agents and end-users alike, and closing sales in a competitive market segment.

Our successful candidate must:
• Be a self-starter
• Be motivated to work independently
• Be skilled at cold-calling and relationship building
• Demonstrate ability to manage
• Prioritize activities to meet goals

Regular weekly travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast will be expected. Relocation to Maine not required. Compensation consists of a base salary and commission accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Only experienced sales professionals should apply.
