Kenway Corporation pioneered the use of FRP for bleach and brownstock washer showers as early as the 1960's. Our simple design provides a square structural pipe with a continuous FRP lip and pre-drilled filtrate orifices. Ductile Iron Van Stone style back-up rings with integrally molded FRP flanges are used for the header connection to minimize the effects of corrosion at a steel/FRP interface. Available either with a new fabrication or a refurbishment of an old shower is the installation of a kynar nozzle liner at sulfuric acid injection points.
Your FRP showers are corroded, leaking, or warping from years of service? Are Kynar lips breaking off and contaminating your pulping operation? Kenway specializes in refurbishing and repairing all models of FRP shower pipes. |
