Industrial customers presented Kenway with a problem: railcar chemical off-loading areas were generating spills that could not be contained adequately with traditional materials and "off-the-shelf" products. As a result Kenway's engineers developed a continuous FRP "drip pan" that spans the track area. Features include:
- Corrosion resistant FRP for highly aggressive chemical spills
- Integrally molded to eliminate leak points at joint areas
- Designed to minimize leaks at rail interface
- Sloped to FRP drain connection points to collect and contain spills
- Slip resistant surface providing secure walking surface
- Durable advanced composite construction with UV resistance for all weather conditions
- Installed in new or existing rail systems without moving rails
The use of Kenway's FRP spill containment system allows the customer to meet or exceed the strict local, state, and federal regulations for tanker loading and off-loading operations.
