Kenway Corporation has worked closely with the University of Maine’s AEWC Advanced Structures and Composites Center on a variety of composite bridge systems. The company partnered with the University on early composite and wood hybrid bridge decking systems as was installed in Union-Washington, Maine. More recently, the Kenway Corporation has become the manufacturing partner for the University’s innovative “Bridge-In-A-Backpack,” developed in association with Advanced Infrastructure Technologies.
